Chacarita is a barrio or district in the centre part of Buenos Aires city, Argentina. It is located between Avenida Elcano, railroad of Ferrocarril General Urquiza, Avenue Del Campo, Avenue Garmendia, Avenue Warnes, Avenue Dorrego, railroad of Ferrocarril General San Martín, Avenue Córdoba, Avenue Dorrego and Avenue Álvarez Thomas. This is a quiet neighbourhood with well-treed streets and mainly old houses. The most important site is the Cementery of Chacarita.
