Chad Michael Paronto (born July 28, 1975 in Woodsville, New Hampshire) is a relief pitcher for the Atlanta Braves. Paronto attended Woodsville High School, where he played soccer, baseball, and basketball. Chad had a career year in 2002 with Cleveland, compiling an 0-2 record, and a 4.04 ERA and 23 Ks. After going 0-2 with a 9.45 ERA and 6 strikeouts in 6.7 innings pitched, Chad became a free agent in the 2003 offseason and signed with the St. Louis Cardinals.
