Chan Bahlum in January of 690

Chan Bahlum II, also known as K'inich K'an B'alam the younger, (23 May 635 - 20 February 702) was king of the Maya state of Baakal, with the capital in the city now known as Palenque.

Chan Bahlum II took the throne on 10 January 684, several months after the death of his father and predecessor, Pacal the Great.

He continued the ambitious project of adorning Palenque with fine art and architecture begun by his father.

He was succeeded by his younger brother, Kan Xul II.
