Encyclopedia > Char(StarCraft)

Char is a planet in the StarCraft universe. It orbits a binary star system consisting of a yellow star and a blue star.

Char is very volcanically active, and is considered a hellish environment by Terrans. Few native lifeforms live there, but you can find plants and the Ragnasaur there.

Due to it's volcanism, mineral deposits and Vespene geysers are always being uncovered there, especially when it is furthest away from the twin suns in the system.

Char is currently the headquarters planet of the Zerg Swarm, making it very hazardous to visit.
