Charles Grimes (February 24, 1772 - February 19, 1858) was an English surveyor of Australia. He is responsble for the discovery of the Yarra River, and fully surveying the Hunter River and King Island. In 1808 he sided with the rebels against Governor William Bligh in the Rum Rebellion and shares the distinction of being only one of two rebels to lose their governments posts.
