Charles Hinton Russell (December 27, 1903 _ September 13, 1989) was a Governor of Nevada. He was a Republican.


Russell was born in Lovelock, Nevada in 1903. He graduated from the University of Nevada at Reno in 1926. Later, He taught school.


Russell was a member of the Nevada State senate from 1941 to 1946. After that, he was elected as a Republican to the Eightieth Congress. He was an unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1948 to the Eighty-first Congress. He became the Governor in 1951 and served until 1959. He died in 1989.
