Charles McCurdy "Mac" Mathias, Jr. (b. July 24, 1922) was a Republican member of the United States Senate, representing the State of Maryland from 1969-1987. He was also a member of the Maryland House of Delegates from 1959-1960, and a member of the United States House of Representatives, representing the 6th congressional district of Maryland, from 1961-1969.
