Myers was a sturdy and industrious man who won his fellow-citizens' confidence by his integrity and straightforward business methods, and who was a good citizen of his community, serving with fidelity and efficiency as school director and as a member of the board of trustees of White Mound Township.
Myers is a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church, a director of the church board, a member of the Sunday school board, and secretary of the Sunday school.
Myers was united in marriage with Miss Blanche Owens, daughter of the late Doctor Owens, a physician of Argonia, Kansas.
