Charles P guy (January 7, 1873-September 4, 1914) was a noted French poet and essayist. He was a devout Catholic but not a practising Catholic. (1) His two main inspirations were socialism and christianity.


Charles P guy was born in Orl ans. He attended the cole Normale Sup rieure, from which he graduated in 1894.


Early in his life, he came under the influence of Henri Bergson.


He died in Villeroy-sur-Marne.
