Charlie Robles was born April 15, 1943, in Jayuya, Puerto Rico.


At the age of 14, he left for New York and began violin lessons with professor Pepito Figueroa Sanabria for three years.


In 1967, Charlie Robles went to South Carolina where he and joined the military. He continued singing in the military. By 1969, Robles earned a master's degree and returned to his artistic tendencies.


Eventually, he returned to Puerto Rico and became a pop culture singing superstar to teens.
