Charlie Talbert (born 1979) is a filmactor, best known for the title role in the film Angus. He was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Talbert film career began in a Wendy's Restaurant in Lake Forest, Illinois. After coming home from watching a bike race at the Northbrook Velodrome with a friend, the two stopped at the fast food chain and waited in line to order food. While waiting, Charlie began making jokes at a man who was waiting for his French fries. That man was Patrick Read Johnson, a film director, who was at the time taking a break from a casting search for his new movie. Seeing this, Johnson then invited Charlie to audition at Planet Hollywood in Chicago, Illinois. Charlie did so and won the part.
He is best remembered for his lead role in Angus but has since appeared in few and largely unnotable films. He often performs in the same films as Chris Owen.
Cast: CharlieTalbert, George C. Scott, Kathy Bates, Rita Moreno, Ariana Richards, Chris Owen.
CharlieTalbert plays the title character, overweight and miserable but with a big heart and a quick wit as well as some talent for science and football.
All the young actors are terrific, however, especially Talbert, who should have a long career ahead of him.
