Well, actually, it is not a community. It was put on the map simply because there was a local post office for Martland township in the house on the corner of the highway for some years in the middle of the 20th century. The area has five houses and a dairy farm with three silos. People who still live in these 5 houses simply say they are from Noelville, the town that is 3 km away.
