Ch teau-Thierry is a commune of north-eastern France, about 56 miles east-northeast of Paris. It is a sous-pr fecture of the Aisne d partement, in the Picardie administrative r gion.

Ch teau-Thierry was the site of an important World War I battle in 1918, between American and German troops.

Ch teau-Thierry is situated on the Marne River.
