Chatfield is a city located in the U.S. state of Minnesota. The population was 2,394 at the 2000 census. The city is located on the border of Fillmore and Olmsted Counties, with almost equal parts in both counties. It has a sheet music lending library. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 5.2 km² (2.0 mi²), all land.
