The town of Chazy (and Chazy Central Rural School) is perhaps most well-known because of their long-standing tradition of having consistent, dominant varsity boys and girls soccer teams. This rink won a $75,000 grant funded by the NHLPA Goals and Dreams program, which aided in its completion a couple of years ago. Scott's Arena is home to the Chazy Youth Hockey Flyers. The Beekmantown Eagles high school hockey team also practices and occasionally hosts games at this venue. The arena is named in memory of Scott House and Scott Wolter, both whom played hockey for Chazy.
