Chen Deming (Chinese:陈德铭 1949—) is the current Governor of Shaanxi. He was born in Shanghai. In September 1974, Chen joined the Chinese Communist Party. He went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and later a Doctorate in Administration. He was Mayor and later CPC Committee Secretary of Suzhou before being moved to Shaanxi.
