Migrated from Kabarda in 1780-1825 and settled in Zelenchuks & Urup upper valleys; were replaced in 1830-50s.


In Turkish culture cherkes rooted people also considered as a good looking. Some of the top models or actresses became famous of their beauty are also cherkes.
