FASTER

FASTER, is a real-time, computer based fleet management system designed for usage by fleet services, public works, power sites and airports. It is an off-the-shelf package that allows and promotes extensive customization for the end client. Initial versions of FASTER were developed in BOS for installation on IBM mainframes by large municipal entities. In 1983, the software was ported to microcomputer environments. During 1995, FASTER was redeveloped for usage on client-server platforms, predominantly under Microsoft operating systems. It is these Windows versions that CCG presently markets to prospective customers.
