Chesed is the forth Sefirah on the tree of life. It is given the association of Kindness and love, and is the first of the emotive attributes of the Sefirot. It sits below Chockmah, Across from Gevurah and above Netzach. It is usualy given four paths. To Chockmah, Gevurah, Tifereth, and Netzach (some Kabbalahists place a path from Chesed to Binah as well.)
