Dragon Ball

Chi_Chi (チチ) is a Human. She is the wife of Son Goku. Chichi means nipple in Japanese.

In a very early episode of Dragon Ball, while trying to ride the Kinto'un (Flying Nimbus), Goku touched Chi-Chi's buttock by an accident. Brought up as a only daughter of Gyűmaô (Ox-King) and living a secluded life, her face became red and believing very wrongly that Goku liked her, she asks Goku that when she became older Goku will be the person to 'take' her. Simple Goku, thinking that she wanted him to have food or something, agreed.

She would see Goku again at the beginning of the Red Ribbon Army Saga, when he would visit her to find the Dragon Ball which at the time was being sought by both Emperor Pilaf and Colonel Silver of the Red Ribbon Army, and later she would make a brief appearance in the King Piccolo Saga. Both of these appearances did not occur in the manga.

Years later, Chi-Chi came back, first hiding her name and as an opponent in Tenka'ichi Budôkai. Chi_Chi is angry that Goku had never came back to keep 'the promise' which Goku, of course, have no idea what that is about. Then she says that if Goku will defeat her in the match, she will tell him what it is about. Goku does and is shocked to realize that little Chi_Chi had grown up as he had. Being a good_natured man, Goku decide to keep his promise and announces that he will marry her, in front of the whole crowd.

After marriage, Chi_Chi became a supporting character to Goku (and the two sons, Gohan and Goten). She is very notable by very emphasising on the sons' academic achievement rather than their fighting ability. Therefore she often become frustrated when Goku decided to take the sons (esp. Gohan) to fights. Inevitably, Gohan had to work hard on both his human identity as well as his academic skills. In result, the very last chapters of the Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z manga stated that Gohan had become a scholar and thus did not participate the Tenka'ichi Budôkai.

Game

Chi Chi also means a hand charge game played in certain schools in Singapore. In this game, everyone charge to be able to attack. The following is about the version played in Nan Hua Primary School. The different basic signals are charge (clapping before two fingers pointing in front of you), block (to block off basic attacks), jump (to block off certain attacks) and dig (same effectiveness as jump but it can block off a different attack). The attacks are as the following:1 charge-Sin (there are different variations of pronunciations, able to attack opponent who charges), 2 charge-Grenade (able to attack opponent who charges, sin and jump), Groundigger (able to attack opponent who charges, sin, and digs), and bang (also 2 charge, able to attack opponent who charges, sin, grenade and groundigger), 3 charge-Rifle (able to attack opponent who charges, sin, grenade, groundigger and bangs), 4 charge-machine gun (able to attack opponent who charges, sin, grenade, groundigger, bangs and rifle), 5 charge-laser (only jump and dig can avoid this), 6 charge-missile (only dig can avoid this), 7 charge-bazooka (only dig can avoid this), 8 charge-explosive (only jump can avoid this), 10 charge-nuclear bomb (the absolute one, only nuclear satellite (15 charges) and nuclear combo (30 charges) can defeat this), 15 charge-nuclear satellite (only nuclear combo can defeat this) and finally, 30 charge-nuclear satellite (the most powerful). Currently, it is estimated that there are two hundred to five hundred pupils who play this game worldwide.
