Hardcore dancing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (1101 words)
Hardcore dancing (or hXc Dancing) is a form of mosh (or slam dancing), an activity performed in a mosh pit at hardcore music concerts.
Sometimes called kick-box moshing by its detractors, hardcore dancing began to include windmills with the arms, karate-style spin-kicks, and crowd-beating (the act of tackling a group of non-dancing onlookers).
This style of dancing became popular during the hardcore reformation, when bands such as Snapcase, Split lip, and Endpoint peaked in popularity although the dance was not limited to bands of that style.
