The Chief doesn't particularly like the company of the show's title characters. Since Crandall, Brenda, and Hector are usually the ones stopping the various evildoers, the most he's able to do is arrest the villains. In spite of this, though, the Chief has occasionally been needed to provide major help. When the Chief collars a villain, he tells him (or her) what they're about to endure. Usually, he finishes up the sentence by adding, "...in jail!!" Sometimes, though, he'll mention a specific prison name depending on which villain he's collared. The Chief's last name, Epsilon, has been revealed in at least two episodes. Years prior to when he met Teamo, he was the state's best spy, and was able to capture an enemy named Trediak. A few episodes feature the Chief's daughter, Patience, who inherits his vocal cords. The Chief's wife is never seen onscreen, although she may have appeared in some family photos at the beginning of the episode "Out of the Past!" Incidentally, the Chief seems to bare a resemblance to Mr. Spacely of The Jetsons. Cosmo G. Spacely is a fictional character in the animated series The Jetsons, voiced by Mel Blanc. ...
