Chika Sakamoto (坂本 千夏 Sakamoto Chika, alternatively translated as Sakamoto Chinatsu, born August 17, 1959) is a seiyū and J-pop singer who was born in Tokyo.
Chika usually gives voice to characters who are gender-benders of some flavour or another.
A young, anime-watching Sakamoto sang along to the opening themes of her favorite series when they came on TV and mimicked the characters' voices.

Chinatsu "Chika" Sakamoto started as a voice actor in 1981, before most convention-going anime fans were born.
Sakamoto was Angelica Pickles in the Japanese version of Rugrats and was in the dubs of Disney's Goof Troop and 101 Dalmatians.
The energetic Chika, who is the 300th personality of the week, voices the Nuriko character created by artist Yu Watase, who was first to be named personality of the week in October of 1998.
