By Road From the state capital Bangalore, Chikkamagaluru can be reached on road by two routes, one would be by taking the National Highway NH-206 via Tumkur, Arsikere and reaching a town called Kadur. A left turn deviation from Kadur takes one to Chikkamagaluru. Alternate route would be to take NH-48 and reach Hassan. From Hassan, one can go to Chikkamagaluru via Belur.
