The Namibian government is of the view that the extent of child labour in the country is limited, and occurs mainly in the agircultural sector. The 1999 Namibian Child Activities Survey found this. The results of a follow-up survey, conducted in December 2005, are still awaited, and should give a picture on whether the phenominon has increased or not.
