It is stated that the majority of Longjing tea is in fact fake, that is not from Zhejiang but from Sichuan and hence an all together different tea ([1]), credible sellers may sometimes provide anti-fake labels ([2]) or openly state that the tea is not from Zhejiang.
This tea is grown in the Mei Jia Wu village in Zhejiang Province famous for producing teas, early teas can fetch up to 6000 yuan per kilogram (2005 data) direct from the growers.
This tea is grown on Shi Feng mountain in the Zhejiang Province.

In one legend, the owner of a tea plantation was scared away from his drying tea leaves by the appearance of a fl snake; when he cautiously returned several days later, the leaves had been oxidized by the sun and gave a delightful brew.
Oolong tea is the type of tea most commonly served in Chinese restaurants, to accompany dim sum and other Chinese food.
Tea cultivation only began in Taiwan in the mid 19th century and many teas that were produced in Fujian have been since also produced here.
