China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited (中国东方航空股份有限公司) is an airline based in Shanghai, China.


It is the second-largest airline in China, with flights to Munich, Paris, Seoul, Tokyo, Los Angeles and other world cities.


Its fleet includes Airbus A300, Airbus A319, Airbus A320, Airbus A340, Boeing 737, and McDonnell Douglas MD-11 aircraft.


China Eastern Airlines' IATA designator is MU and the ICAO airline code is CES.


History

China Yunnan Airlines and China Northwest Airlines merged into China Eastern Airlines in 2002.
