The Petaling Street is also known as Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown. The local Chinese people call it as Chi-Cheong-Kai. Stuff which are famous here are its replicas and fake good such as bags, hand bags, watches, shoes, shirts, t-shirts. You can find almost anything here, from Rolex to Tag Heuer replicas and from Louis Vuitton to Christian Dior. Remember always to haggle for the price which are offered initially. Dress as light as possible and keep your belongings to a minimum as the place is very crowded and packed after night falls. The place tends to be very stuffy too, when the crowds packs in.

  • A mosque known as Masjid Jamek is about a walking distance from here.
  • Central Market, an old wet market converged into a tourist spot is also walking distance from Petaling Street.
