The new Chinatown that is growing larger is located in the Alief subregion along Bellaire Blvd between Gessner and Dairy Ashford. It is mainly located on Bellaire Blvd. but the main area is located in the region surrounded by harwin, dair ashford, beechnut, and gessner. This Chinatown is mostly Chinese, although a growing amount of Vietnamese live in Chinatown as well. Chinese Mexicans also settled the area. There are several Asian supermarkets such as Hong Kong Supermarket, Diho, and Welcome. Most of the Chinese here are Manderine speakers.
