Chofu Airport is an airport located in Japan, west of central Tokyo. It is administered by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. The airport's main commercial activity is New Central Airlines' commuter flights to the islands south of Tokyo. Private aircraft also use the field.
Chofu has significance to American expatriates because it is home to the American School in Japan, a K-12 institution attended by many American and international children.
Chofu is also home to ChofuAirport, which handles general aviation traffic and some flights to the islands south of Tokyo.
Chofu can be accessed from central Tokyo by the Keio Line at Tobitakyu Station (closest to the stadium and airport), Chofu Station (closest to the town center).
