It is an evangelistic organization of Messianic Judaism, an outgrowth of the ministry of Leopold Cohn. Cohn was born Itsak Leib Jaszovics in Berezna in eastern Hungary. He claimed to have become a Rabbi in Hungary, and subsequently emigrated to the United States to investigate his beliefs in Jesus as the Messiah. However, the current president of Chosen People Ministries, Dr. Mitch Glaser has reviewed these accusations against Rabbi Cohn and based upon the evidence and court records is convinced that Rabbi Cohn was being defamed by members of the Jewish community who opposed his work. None of the allegations were proven and certainly Leopold Cohn was an ordained Rabbi and was not guilty of the above mentioned activities. His personal testimony can be found in the book, To An Ancient People, which is available through Chosen People Ministries. For other meanings, see Brooklyn (disambiguation). ...
