He got his start as a producer of the Mike and the Mad Dog radio program. In March of 2001, he was given his first radio programs. Weight Issue Carlin has daily admitted to his wide girth, but it wasn't until 2002 that he discovered that he infact suffered from obesity. Carlin has since then dedicated himself to a strict diet and routine exercise. In a recent New York Times Carlin was quoted as saying, "I have no problem with how I look, but I have every problem with how I feel." He claims to suffer from extremely painful leg and back cramps from his weight, and is claimed to take physcial therapy for it.
