Biography

Early life

Kirkpatrick was born in Clarion, Pennsylvania and is of Irish, Scottish, Spanish and Native American descent. After going to Dalton High School, in Dalton Ohio, he performed at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida in a Doo Wop group. After being the first runner-up for a spot in the Backstreet Boys, a disappointed Kirkpatrick approached Lou Pearlman with an idea to start another group, and thus formed the nucleus for 'N Sync.[1] Clarion is a borough in Clarion County, Pennsylvania, about 100 miles (161 km) north-northeast of Pittsburgh and part of the Pittsburgh DMA. After 'N Sync, Kirkpatrick originally pursued a solo career with the band Little Red Monsters, where he debuted two songs, "Jodi's Song" and "Who am I" (the studio version of which is floating around on the internet), at the April Fool's Ball playing with the now defunct band, Ohno. He changed the band line-up and name, regrouping as Nigel's 11. He premiered this new act in late December of 2005 with two live shows in California. He and his second band have released new tracks "My World," "Everybody Gets Lost," and "Say You Will" while performing his two prior solo songs over again. He was taunted by Eminem in the song "Without Me", with the lyrics "Chris Kirkpatrick, you can get your ass kicked, worse than them little Limp Bizkit bastards." This was Eminem's response to allegations Kirkpatrick made when Eminem was arrested for gun possession and assault in June 2000. Kirkpatrick stated "His arrest is karma. It's really sad when people have to put everybody else down to make themselves look good. The guy's digging himself a grave, and soon he's not gonna have any friends."
