Chris Oti made his debut against Scotland at Murrayfield in 1988, becoming England's first black player for 80 years and is best remembered for scoring a hat-trick in the 35-3 home win against Ireland in that year's Five Nations. As Oti scored his final try, a group from the Benedictine school Douai began singing 'Swing Low, Sweet Chariot', as they do for their rugby union team.
