Christian Amoroso è a Johannesburg, con la Nazionale Under 21 di B. Fa coppia con l’amico Cristiano Zanetti, cresciuto con lui alla corte di Chiarugi, che gioca nel Venezia (e più tardi approderà all’Inter).

When Bierhoff left the club for AC Milan, many thought Udinese would struggle to repeat their success, but that very next season Amoroso himself became the focus of the team, and was the top scorer in Serie A. A big-money move to Parma followed.
The Parma side never quite fulfilled their potential to win the league title, and Amoroso was soon on the move again, this time to Borussia Dortmund in Germany.
Amoroso joined São Paulo Futebol Clube in the summer of 2005 and immediately helped them to the Copa Libertadores de América, the most prestigious club prize in South America.
