Christian Estrosi (born July 1, 1955) is a French politician and is Secretary of State in charge of the French Overseas, under Michèle Alliot-Marie, minister of the interior. His is also President of the general council for the Alpes-Maritimes département. He is a supporter of Nicolas Sarkozy. Estrosi is also a former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. His nickname is "the Motodidact", because he has no diploma.
