Christopher Lambert as Connor MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod in Highlander Christophe Guy Dénis Lambert (born March 29, 1957), sometimes rendered Christopher Lambert, is a American-French actor. Lambert was born in Long Island, New York to a family of French origin. Lambert was raised in Geneva where his father was a UN diplomat. Lambert's family returned to Paris when he was 16. There Lambert was accepted to the acting program at the Paris Conservatoire. His true talent was discovered when director Hugh Hudson chose him for the leading role. Lambert acted in several French films before playing the title role in Greystoke - The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes (1984). With the movie Highlander (1986),starring as the immortal Connor MacLeod, Lambert received media attention. It is by far, his most famous role.
