John Christopher Pratt (born 1935 in St. John's, Newfoundland) is a Canadian painter. He moved to New Brunswick in 1953 to attend Mount Allison University, where he met his future wife, the artist Mary Pratt (nee West). They married in 1957. In 1961 he became the curator at the Memorial University Art Gallery in St. John's, where he stayed for two and half years. He and his wife then moved to St. Mary's Bay.
