Chukchansi Park is a city-owned baseball stadium located in Fresno, California. It was originally built and named Grizzlies Stadium as the home for the Pacific Coast League Fresno Grizzlies, and after failing management Chukchansi casino announced it would be the premier corporate sponsor for Grizzlies Stadium, in a 15 year, $16 million deal. The first game was May 1, 2002. Located in downtown Fresno, it is to be an anchor in the rehabilitation of the area, as other commercial development is planned in the Central Business District Loop.
