Chullora is essentially an industrial area with several warehouses are located in the Chullora suburb, within Chullora Business Park, including the Sydney Tip Top Bakeries and the OfficeMax Sydney warehouse. The suburb is also the site of printing for the newspapers The Australian, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Sunday Herald, The Daily Telegraph and the Sunday Telegraph.

History

The suburb of Chullora was originally part of the area known as Liberty Plains, which was land given to the first free settlers who arrived in Sydney Cove on the 6th January 1793. Chullora was the name used for one of the estates in this area.
