Chyhyryn (Ukrainian: Чигирин; Russian: Чигирин, translit. Chigirin; Polish: Czehryn) is a city located in Cherkasy Oblast of central Ukraine. The city rests on the banks of Tyasmyn River, and is the administrative center of the Chyhyrynskyi Raion. It is located at around 49°5′N 32°40′E. The current estimated population is 12,900.
