Ciarán Hinds (also credited as Ciaran Hinds, b. February 9, 1953), well-respected Belfast-born actor whose work spans the genres of theater, radio, television, and film.
Hinds portrays Julius Caesar in HBO's upcoming epic mini-series, Rome (TV Series), scheduled for release in August 2005. In addition, he is currently working as a cast member in Steven Spielberg's upcoming controversial film, Munich, to be released in December 2005. His casting in Michael Mann's film adaptation of the 80's television show, Miami Vice, scheduled to be in theaters in Summer 2006, is a testament to the broad range of characters and projects with which Hinds chooses to be involved.
