Circle Centre is a large indoor shopping mall located in downtown Indianapolis (just around the corner from the Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument). Plans for a downtown Indianapolis mall had been in development by the Simon Property Group since 1979. Circle Centre was opened to the public on September 8, 1995, adjoining Simon corporate headquarters, and incorporating existing downtown structures such as the former L.S.
