Ciro D. Rodriguez (b. December 9, 1946) is a politician from the state of Texas.


Rodriguez was born in Piedras Negras, Mexico and he grew up in San Antonio, Texas. Rodriguez served in the Texas House of Representatives from 1987 to 1997. In 1997, Rodriguez was elected to the House of Representatives as a Democrat to replace Frank Tejeda. Rodriguez had a liberal voting record. In March 2004, Rodriguez lost the primary election to Henry Cuellar by 58 votes. Rodriguez sued to overturn Cueller's victory, but the Texas 4th Court of Appeals ruled against him.

Rodriguez served in the Texas House of Representatives from 1987 to 1997.
In April 1997 Rodriguez defeated Juan F. Solis III with 66.7% of the vote to win the 28th district special election to the House of Representatives to fill the remainder of the term of Democratic representative Frank Tejeda who died in January.
