The City of Casey is a Local Government Area in Victoria, Australia. It is located in the outer south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Casey is Victoria's most populous municipality, with a current estimated population of 230,555.[2] It has an area of 407 square kilometres. The City is named after Lord Casey, the 16th Governor-General of Australia. This is gradually, over time however, being replaced with residential development. Between Endeavour Hills and Cranbourne is a largely developed area now, with very little undeveloped land still remaining.
