City of Edinburgh (Mòr-bhaile Dhùn Èideann in Gaelic) is one of 32 unitary council regions in Scotland. It borders onto West Lothian, Midlothian, East Lothian and Scottish Borders. Primarily comprised of the city itself, there are also a number of villages within the authority area too.
