Encyclopedia > City of West Kildonan

West Kildonan is the area north of Inkster Blvd and west of the Red River. The area has a large park called Kildonan Park. The term Red River has the following uses: Rivers Red River of the North, a river that flows northward between North Dakota and Minnesota into Lake Winnipeg, site of the Red River Settlement; also center of the Red River Valley, a historic region of the United States and Canada Red...


Prior to 1972, it was the independent City of West Kildonan. Today, it is a neighborhood of the City of Winnipeg.
