CASA is the Australia, officially the Commonwealth of Australia, is the sixth-largest country in the world, the only one to occupy an entire continent, and the largest in the region of Australasia/ Oceania. It also includes a number of secondary islands, the largest of which is Tasmania, an Australian State. Australia is... Australian federal agency responsible for the regulation of private and commercial flight. It was established on July 6 1995 when the air safety functions of the former Civil Aviation Authority of Australia were separated from its other regulatory functions (which then went to Airservices Australia).


CASA licences pilots, ground crew, and aircraft and airfield operators, and is responsible for enforcing safety requirements under the Commonwealth Civil Aviation Act 1988 and the Air Navigation Act 1920. Although a body corporate distinct from the Commonwealth Government, CASA is responsible to the Federal Minister for Transport and Regional Services.
