Clapham is a small village in the wooded Clapdale valley in the Yorkshire Dales, England.


It is well known as a starting point of a classic ascent of Ingleborough (one of Yorkshire's famous "Yorkshire Three Peaks" - Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen_y_ghent), the path from Clapham leads through woods to the impressive entrance of Ingleborough Cave.
