Morbidly obese (the actor playing Seroy has weighed over 600 lbs.), Seroy is incarcerated for arson and is not shown to be affiliated with any specific gang while in Oz. He first appears attempting to rape inmate Franklin Winthrop, but he is told to back off by the Aryan Brotherhood. The Aryans, led by Vernon Schillinger, do this only to make Winthrop their sex slave. Seroy is then later hired by inmate Timmy Kirk to set up the burning of a Catholic church at which chaplain Father Ray Mukada resides.
